We will always remember you ❤

Exactly two weeks ago (14.09.2013) Runa left us...
She had been struggling with what we thought was E. cuniculi since monday and during the night to Sunday she was gone...

We really miss our little girl and sister that was everywhere at once.

She woke us up every morning at 6:00 even though it was weekends, and demanded breakfast for her and her siblings. And often we would find her sleeping in the foot-end of the bed together with us at night. She would also demand pellets every evening at 20:00 and often before, just in case we would forget to look at the watch.

She always knew what she wanted, and hated to be waked up during her beauty sleep during the day, one time dad was especially noisy listening to an audiobook she ran out from her favorite spot under the sofa, tossed the phone on the floor and started to dig on her dad to demand silence.

Aristoteles also miss Runa a lot, and was also allowed to say goodbye sunday morning. The following day of Runa's passing he looked everywhere for her, even places he usually would not dare to go. Runa has been a big part in his life and made him much braver and more sure of himself. And since Runa became a part of our family he's almost never been sick.

She loved to play with her dad on the floor; jumping up on his back while he crawled on the floor, so she could enjoy a ride. She also enjoyed to tear up the sofa, carpets and cardboard boxes even tough it sometimes frustrated her mum and dad, and now we own a exclusive sofa designed by Runa.

The house feels extremely empty now that Runa has left us, and we will never forget our little girl that gave us so much happiness and wonderful memories. You will always live in our hearts until the day we meet again.

We love you our little girl and little sister, and will never forget you!

Thank you for everything!

Big brother Aristoteles

When daddy came home yesterday Runa was feeling really bad. I watched over her and she was lying by my side. Then mum and dad noticed that her head was really tilted and that she didn't n want food. Mum at once expected this to be the parasite E. cuniculi so we went right to the vet (our regular vet didn't have time to us so we had to drive the car really far this time).

When we came to the vet I was really afraid and thought they was going to look on me. Frigg was brave as usual, but Runa was really afraid and pretended she was feeling well.

The vet came to the same conclusion as mummy, and since it's a really dangerous parasite for rabbits we're all on antiparasitic medication now. Runa also have to take antibiotics and have her teeth fixed.

Today Runa still don't want to eat that much so daddy had to feed her with Critical Care this morning.

We're going to our regular vet today and hopefully we also will get some painkillers since she grinds her teeth sometimes. We all also have to take blood samples to check for E. cuniculi.

Right now we're all really afraid.

The picture is of me guarding Runa while she eats some Critical Care by herself some minutes ago. I also wanted some after she was finished, but stupid mum took it away..
