Every day I and Frigg gets 1 papaya tablet (1/2 in the morning and 1/2 in the evening), while Aristoteles gets two. The humans says it's because he has problems with his tummy (since papaya tablets aid digestion), but it's unfair anyway!
So today I decided to snatch the box from the table, and it worked!
I ran and ran so the humans wouldn't catch me, and so I didn't have to share with Aristoteles and Frigg.
Unfortunately the box turned out to be empty, even though it smelled delicious.
But mum filled it with some pellets though, so now it's okay. Even though dad took the box from me since I started to chew on the plastic...

Relaxing in the living room
This girl just moved into our bathroom.
Her name is Frigg, but she was formerly known as Blåbæret.
She's a rescue so we don't know how old she is, and she won't tell us either.
We will introduce her to Runa and Aristoteles on a neutral area soon :)

The Gatekeepers
Hello fellow rabbits. Today I want to share with you how to eat your hay. You like my brother are probably eating your hay inside your hay station for convince. But it actually tastes phenomenal when you drag it all over the floor. And daddy gives you a cute look :-)

In our blog reading list we have a like you maybe have seen
Marit Emilie's blog it's in Norwegian but we had to share this entry with you anyway (hopefully you will survive terrible translated Norwegian from Google Translate).
So even though he doesn’t live here, this entry will be about a 10 year old rabbit called Erling. He was just rescued from a life in a small cage that he had been living in his whole life. He's human was originally the children that lived in the house when Erling was a small bunny baby. It was fun in a while cause they loved him as long as he was a baby, even though he had to live in a small cage. But then the humans stopped coming that much, and in the end they even gave him away to someone else because they though it was a hassle to go out and feed him.
To be given away was actually really fortunate for him, because now he has gotten himself a loving family with two other bunny friends and he finally gets to live like everybun should: As a free-roaming house bunny that lives together with her or his humans inside.
But 10 years in a cage is not god for anybun and Erling had problems to walk after being let out of his cage. And x-ray pictures from
Marit Emilie's blog shows what actually happens to you're muscles and your organs when living in a cage for so long: The pictures show (se link below) a comparison between Melis (Marit is Melis' human) and Erling, where you can see that Erling's muscles aren't able to hold his organs in place at all.
You can read more and see the pictures here:
Here Erling is getting checked and treated by vet called Heidi Stenstad (picture used with permission from
Marit Emilie):
The most terrible thing about this is that mummy and daddy have told us that this is the
usual way rabbits are living in Norway and the rest of the world. That's so terrible and sad! We only have to sit in a cage when we're going some were, and sometimes we have to be in a pen when someone is looking after us. And that's terrible enough even though our pen is bigger than the cage Erling lived in. Poor poor, Erling..
Why we rabbits are not supposed to live in cages

Usually Runa sleeps under the sofa during the day, while I sleep in the bedroom.
But today both Runa and I are guarding our sick daddy (formerly known as A) that's sleeping in the bedroom. We also sleep a little but wake up and check on daddy every time he makes a sound.

But now we have smartphones and will try to blog now and then.
And now some pictures of us eating hay :)

Disapproving Rabbits x 2
We picked Runa up from the breeder (
Myosotis) today, and tried to bond her with Aristoteles, and as you can see it was a success.
Aristoteles still thinks Runa is a little bit scary though, while Runa just wants Aristoteles' attention.
They are so cute together ^_^
PS! I will update the blog with more pictures and a little log from the bonding session tomorrow (or in a couple of days) :)
NOTE! Do not attempt to bond two rabbits without reading about it first!

Right now I'm on vacation. We arrived yesterday after a long train trip. But this time is wasn’t that scary. First our part of the train was full of Japanese tourists, and when they saw me they all said: "Nawww!" because they thought I was so cute ^^ Then after a while we got half of the train for our selves. It was kind of cool!
Today I'm just relaxing in my room here at grandpa's. But this time it smells kind of weird here. Mum say that a little puppy lives here now, whatever that is (after what I understand it's a small version of Rammbo (grandma's dog).
Mum is also kind of excited these days. She and A tells me that I'm going to get a little sister on Sunday. But I kind of don't understand, what is a little sister? Does it mean that I'm going to get another arachnid sibling?

No more cage!
I really tiny part of my
Blaptica dubia colony eating baby food (mashed fruit without any food additives):

Actually the colony has gotten so big that I have to reduce some of the individuals by giving about half of my culture away. Right now all my tarantulas except from Lumina (
Brachypelma schroederi, juvenile) and Chiisai (
Cyriocosmus elegans) are fasting; so the main roach-eater here right not is the emperor Swoon (
Pandinus imperator). But when the culture is as big as it is, it doesn’t make any difference when your feeding with 4 nymphs and 6 adults every week, it just grows anyway...
Nom Nom nom Nom nom nom...

Today mum disappeared for a while and then came home with these:

They as well as to boxes with Papaya Fruit Plus from Oxbow are ordered from
Busy Bunny's hop shop. And I really like them!
Unfortunately mum has hidden all the things (including the basket!) except from one willow ... She says that I will get them after I've finished this one, but I think she just want to play with them herself.
Anyway; here's a video of me chewing, tossing and playing with my new toy ^^:
