Outside for the first time in 2011

Sick again...

Right now we're visiting granddad and my aunts. Some days ago my it started to hurt inside my mouth so I kind of lost my apetite yesterday. It hurts so much when I chew, but it hav ehurted a little. So I have just eaten soft things, like leaves and dandilions or tasty things like my papaya tablets. And even thought I tried to trick mum into believing that I was fine by running a lot and pretending to eat she understood and today she and granddad took me to the vet after I had "played" a while in the garden...

And after the terrible new vet looked at my teeth mum LEFT me! And then they gave me something and I felt asleep. When I woke up I feelt really bad and my mouth hurt. A vet came and gave me Critical Care and then my old vet(!!!) came even though we are about 450 km away from home! [mums comment: His old vet had moved to work on this veterinary office, I was really surprised to find out].
After a looooooong time mum came and picked me up and granddad drove us home. Right now I'm sitting in the cage inside my enclosure here, with a blanket over me and is feeling kind of betrayed. Stupid mum... We're on a vacation and she left me with the vet :(

Think I'm going to try to relax a little, before mum starts to give me Critical Care.
[mums comment: His medication after fixing he's teeth this time is painkillers for three days (starting tomorrow), FibrePlex and Critical Care.]

The Horrors of PetVett

The day before yesterday me and mum went to the park, and meet many people. It was fun, it's been almost a year since last time I think. Thousand years maybe!

Anyway: Yesterday mum took me to the botanical garden. There we met S and she and mum tried to read while I thought about chewing on their books, to consume some literature. What to you expect? I'm named after a great philosopher, and not just any great philosopher, the one that founded biology! So I can't resist ecology books. But I didn't chew on them, though.

I relaxed a bit under mums backpack before I started to explore a little and tried to chew on a tree, then I cleaned myself and THEN! mum picks me up and puts me in the carrier. I try to run away but is NO use!

And before I know it we are in the scariest place on all of earth: PETVETT! Mum took me out of the carrier and I sat on heir lap trying to hide under her arm. But then the vet come out and was calling my name. Mum started moving into the dark and scary office! And I tried to run away! But still to no use!

Then mum held me tight and the vet looked at my eyes, then she opened my mouth and looked on my front teeth. She went to get that thing, and I tried to tell mum that we had to run for it! But like always she got tricked and I had to get that thing in my mouth so she could look at my molars. Like always I tried to chew or spit it out, but the vet's evil powers were to strong...

Mum and the vet talked a bit and then we could go and I hid under mums arm in case the evil vet was going to change her mind and do some more tests!

[Mums comment: He didn't have to be put in anaesthesia to get his teeth corrected this time. The vet thinks thinks his teeth is getting better (she said that his molars look like those of a cat or dog, but that that is fine as long as his teeth are stabilising), so were not going back for a new control until July/August].

After we left the vet we took the bus to H, and there we sat in her garden so I could run a little (but I had to use my leash). A big cat came and really scared mum and H. I don't know what the most scary part was; the cat of the fact that mum was scared. But after being scared a way a couple of times by mum the cat left.

After being at H's for sometime, we took the bus home.

Right now I'm lying under the table, philosophizing on how to get mum to give me some more pellets (she gave me less than normal this morning)...

A little trip to the forest

Today me, mummy and aunty was on a little trip in the forest.

I have been on many trips to the forest with mum this summer and it's really fun.

So all you bunnies out there, tell your mums and dads to take you on a little trip to the forest (or the park if you live in the city) ^^

I know it's really a while ago, but mum hasn't had time (or the right programs) to make the video before today

So this is something of the things that happened on the day I turned 1 year :)

Update

I'm feeling lot better today!
So since I feel better I woke up mum today as I regulary do with licking her in the face.

I have also eaten some pellets today. Almost half of my daily portion actually ^^

I ate some hay yesterday evening to.

So here are some pictures of me waking mum this morning. Yeah I know they aren't that pretty. But remember that they are taken right after I woke mum.


Right now I'm sitting under my bed and washes myself (I just got my morning antibiotics). Mum says that we are going to sit outside in the garden today so that I can try to eat some tasty grass. That way I can play to, if I feel well enough to do so.

The vet called back yesterday by the way and said that if I'm not eating by tomorrow mum have to call them again. But I'm going to show them! I'm going to eat as I normally do tomorrow so I don't have to go back to the vet!

Sun, park, bus and go

Today lots have happened! Many scary but still interesting things.

After mums lecture in Zoology today she and commoncroc (a fellow student of mum) came, and mum put my harness on me. Then she (followed by commoncroc) caried me outside. We walked longer to the spot were mum have carried me before when I took the bus for the first time. After a while the bus came and we went on, it was really scary but still I was curios (last time I was in my traveling cage but today I just sat in my harness and leash).

After a while we went of the bus and then we walked to a place were we meet eci_frog, then we walked to the park! It was really fun and we met more people including bergtatt (who always gives me yummy things and lets me do anything I want ^^).

It was really fun to be in the park again, and I got all the attention I wanted ^^

After some hours in the park mum and the others began to pack their stuff. And mum put my short leash (me long leash is over 5 meters) on and then I, mum, eci_frog and pekko (a guy mum plays go with) walked to the university (mum plays go there).

After a while eci_frog went, and I was placed on a blanket on a table. Mum said that we were going to leave soon she just had to hear when they are going to play tomorrow. Then after a while we left again, after I had said hi to all the guys mum plays with.

And then mum carried me for a long time and then we took the bus home again.

I also have to add that Balto has moved in in our apartment now after a long while with Hamsterguardian. She is going to write something about that to when she's getting better.

Outside in the sun

Since I got my new harness today, and since it was nice weather outside today, me and mum were outside in the garden.

This is the fist time I'm outside this year. Except from the terrible day when I was outside in the terrible so-called snow... But that doesn't count!

Snow

Today I was out in the snow for the first time, and it was TERRIBLE! And REALLY scary!

And were was all the tasty green grass gone?

I will newer lay a paw on that terrible frozen water again! It's unnatural! Water is a liquid not a solid!

After we came inside again I hid myself under the bed, and I haven't come out yet (except from one time when mum offered me some hay).

New home

Sorry, for not updating my blog lately but lots of things have happened in the last weeks. You see mummy and I have moved to a new apartment. I really like it here, because now I am allowed to roam free in the apartment even when I'm home at my own :) I'm not allowed to be out at night, thought... Stupid mummy, it's not my fault that she sleeps the WHOLE night and dosen't want to be waked up for cuddling sessions... It's a bit fun actually at first I lick her in the face and if she dosen't wake up I bite her lightly, and if that dosen't work either I beat her in the face with my front paws...

A walk to the park

Today mum and I was on another trip to the park ^^

A day in the park

Today were mum and I in the park near our apartment!

It was really cool!
I had a really good time and made some small happy-jumps so I could show mum that I thought it was fun to be outside and in the park.

We were in the park for some hours and if it haven't been for that scary seagull (I had to hide into mum, but if it hadn't surprised me that much I would probably be brave enough to tell it not to scream that loud).

We also had a little cuddling time, and I didn't want mum to stop cuddling me so I pushed her hand with my cut little grey nose and got her to cuddle me all the time while she read in her book. Of course I didn't have time to cuddle all the time and I jumped around and played. For example have I found out that it's really fun to jump in and out of mums backpack and hide under it.

OUTSIDE!!!

Yesterday I was outside for the first time in my life.
It was right after my new mum picket me up.

It was a little scary but as the brave bunny I am I conquered my fear and explored the world who was laid near my travelling cage.
